me and my family going to taba egypt in june we are going all inclusive ,me and my wife both smoke could anyone give me some advice on how much money we will need, only ever done spain so very unsure thanks.

My husband and I have just returned from Marsa Alam, Egypt. We went all inclusive ( first time ever). We found that most prices are in Euros and next time we will take some euros. We took £300 in sterling travellers cheques and 5000 Egyptian pounds - we brought back £300 sterling and 3500 egyptian pounds after 16 days ( we were stuck for 2 days because of some Volcano! Cigarettes were 20 - 30 E pounds per packet. QWe do not smoke but we met someone who did. Hope this helps.

Just another point to mention about weather - it will be v hot in June, it was v hot at the beginning of April so take a highish factor sun cream and keep out of it between 11.00am and 2.30pm., ish. One thing about it though it's dry heat and not humid. So enjoy - we have been a few times to Egypt and have been well looked after, they like the English and like to talk about Football!
