Home from Home in South Africa

We love to spend as long as possible in the Capetown area in January/February. As we are pensioners we have to watch the pennies so does anyone know where we could rent a furnished apartment or other suitable acommodation at a reasonable price. Most of the owners abroad offerings are priced per day and do not seem to cater for longer stay rentals at all.We can provide references both from the UK and from South Africa and would be willing to caretake/do small repairs to the property if neccessary. Any suggestions would be warmly welcomed. Ideally we would like to stay in the Northern suburbs Bellville Oakdale Durbanville etc as we have friends living there.
