We are flying into Dusseldorf on Friday afternoon for the weekend.
I have just discovered this evening that Weeze is 60km from Dusseldorf.
Now we arrive at 16.55 so should make the 17.30 bus to Dusseldorf.
However -I have googled to within an inch of my life and I cant find where we arrive compared to where the hotel is and what mode of transport to use.
The hotel is Berliner Hof,Eller Str 110 Dusseldorf 40227.

It would appear that the bus is the best form of transport but im seriously effed with a bleeding chest infection and I just cant get my head around the travel. Its taken me ages.

Can anyone please help me make sense of this -we had no idea Weeze was so far away and help to get to HotelThanks if you can.

Düsseldorf: at the main railway station, Woringer Str. (the bus stop is marked with a Ryanair/ Bohr sign). During fairs: P2/Rheinbad - from here there is a free shuttle bus to the Fair / Fair Ddf./Fairground Ddf.*

Depending on exactly where on Worringer Str the station is, google maps give the distance as approx 1.4km

Thanks for that Count. The Google Map in particular.Ive decided to change hotels -didnt realise the one we opted for was on the outskirts.
Should have done my homework when I booked a few months ago and not the last minute.Hope its all worth it !!!
Hi Dris,

Weeze is about 1 hour from Dusseldorf, and is an old RAF base. Only budget airlines use it, because they are not allowed to land in Dusseldorf International.

When you arrive in Dusseldorf, I would get a taxi to your hotel. These are all cream Mercedes, and are plentiful and reasonably priced.

If your hotel is not far away, the driver might direct you.

Good luck, and enjoy your stay.

Margaret.
