Could anyone tell me what happend to the Red Steps on the North shore Blackpool ??
I have just come Back from Blackpool and a freind asked me to try and find them as when she was a child her Mother said " if you get lost waite at the Red Steps.
I am going back some years as my friend is over 80 they use to stay in a Boarding House just behind the North shore. I did ask at our Hotel but with out any luck.
Can any one help ?

Interesting how things disappear but the name lingers on. There is a bus terminus on the seafront in Whitley Bay known as the bandstand. Apparently the actual bandstand was demolished the year I was born (1949) yet today people still refer to it as such, even in the official bus timetables. I still have to meet someone who can remember the bandstand before its demolition.

Spot on Mosaic. Spanish City's gone and the seafront is derelict. The Spanish City and its surrounding shops brought great wealth into the town in days gone by.
