weather in new york in october

next question, since i havnt posted one in a whole day.  what is the weather like in new york near the end of october?  what should i be taking clothes wise?

I don't know about anyone else, but I'll be happy once you're on the plane!  Just kidding... October in NY is really very pleasant.  Days are still warm, nights can be a bit cool (down to maybe 50 degrees F)... Usually not much wind yet.  There should still be some color in the trees, although peak color is earlier in the month usually.  My family enjoys further north in October (New England) so you'll enjoy NY then... Welcome to the U.S.!

Hi. I just want to say - have a great time in NYC. I went their summer '02 and it was FANTASTIC. I really truly is a wonderful city, and just exactly like it is in the movies!! I'm so jealous of you. Have a great time! :)

NY in end of october is more or less like England at the same time. Day time temps could be around the 10-18 C mark and night temp could be around the 5-10 mark. Maybe less rain.
