It was -2 when I left for work at 6am and just above 0 now. Very icy

It's been snowing in Northants. I don't mind, I haven't got to drive today.

I love it when people whinge about the weather - try working in it.
I'm a window cleaner - when I went to defrost the car at 8am, the car temp read-out said -7 deg C ....... oh well lol :(

Tell you what though, what a beautiful clear day we had here yesterday. Stunning views, nice fresh and crisp air. I would take that over slightly milder and wet any day! As a nation we just love a good moan I think. I just dont like the weather when it poses a safety risk, otherwise, put the right clothing on and get on with it!!

my moan is this, that we have about 10 very large vehicles outside our window digging up the road, again, one vehicle is about half the width of the road, laying tarmac, which will undoubtedly be dug up some time in the near future. The noise is horrible and the fact our homes are being shaken by these monsters. Will that do Giz.

what i like is the very clear sky at night, haven't seen so many stars in the night sky for years, quite beautiful.

Mini Boo's off school sick so luckily im not in work today and have to listen to customers complain about how cold it is...

I mean really? It's cold in the middle of December? Who'd have thunk it!

cold here but also frosty and white, and no sun to thaw it; coldest day so far, I think. Only in softy southerner terms of course, I know people up B00's way are busy eating their huskies.

We've had lorries digging up the road and pavements too em. Supposed to be improving the street lighting. They turned the new lights on last night and a glow worm would be brighter. I think its purely a money saving exercise, except its costing thousands to install. Oh, and the road is still a mess.

I hope the freezing fog we had yesterday doesn't return. Makes driving a nightmare - especially on the winding country lanes.
