Aaah i'm with you honey but em10 let's be honest the u.k ain't no sunshine island and no one's ever said "Hmm where should we go on holiday, Bali? Hawaii? I know let's go to the uk for the fabulous weather they have there! I wished our relatives kept our prisoners here and the non criminals jumped on boats to sunny Australia, what the hell were we thinking?

Unfortunately you'll have to fly to see the sun if you want it and that's exactly what i intend to do either San francisco or to thailand. If i win the lottery i'll take you with me too em10 for a girlies week away for a darling time filled with cabarets,cocktails and dancing.

Had a beautiful afternoon here in Leicestershire. Went to a garden centre and had a cuppa and cream scone outside and the sun was blazing hot! Very humid still, few black clouds now wioth the sun behind on and off ........ so who knows!

Love it. I just love being British, sitting here on my computer watching the showers and talking about the weather. Hubby is watching motor racing on the telly but I am being patriotic and talking about rain. We moved to Thanet 3 years ago where it is at least 5 degrees warmer in the summer than my native Lincolnshire and miss the cold so much we are going back up north for our holidays!
