We are now getting heavy snow, there is a lot of water lying around so I hope the snow don't settle.

We are on the side of a mountain in mid Wales Slinky.

This particular mountain is know in the area to be the first place for the snow to settle and the last place for it to leave.

The hill on the opposite side of the valley just slightly higher than us is totally white now.

Thankfully the snow has subsided now, the place is still looking fairly white but I don't think it will last long, probably clear by morning.

When I was out checking the animal and feeding up I noticed a few sheep around the farm, that means the electric fence is down (we don't have any sheep) and they have come down off the mountain and through the fence. So my job was then to walk up over the side which is very steep and slippery to repair the electric fence Grrrr!

Ratter, I hope you've got your backup jenny serviced and that you have enough fuel to last until the rescue team get through to you. Have a pagan christmas ;o)

We have a backup jenny!? Where? it must be in of the outbuildings.

The biggest problems will be all my chicks about to hatch in the incubator, we cant lose leccy!!!!
