We are having the most amazing storm at the moment. An hour ago incredible white clouds started rolling in across the Channel in a great sausage, literally speeding across the sky as we watched - followed by great black ones, and pinky grey ragged ones and high winds. Then a lull period, and now we're having the full thunder-and-lightning - I wish I could see the sea from our house!
Got very close here in north central Ireland, the fog has come down and my dog who normally stays in the garden all the time has come in. He senses something nasty on the way.
I was sitting on a patio near Brands Hatch earlier this evening. Both the clouds and the lightning were fantastic. Unfortunately the rain didn't last for long and hasn't really cleared the air, still very humid.
Right, muggy or not, I'm off to my bed, got an Outpatients appointment later at KCH, love Saturday appointments, no trouble parking, seeing the Consultant to make sure my eyes will survive another year,
so G'night all.
nothing here tonight. very calm, no wind, no rain, no thunder, no lightning. rather boring in fact. very still today, humid and hot but no sun. very boring in fact.
