Storm!

We are having the most amazing storm at the moment. An hour ago incredible white clouds started rolling in across the Channel in a great sausage, literally speeding across the sky as we watched - followed by great black ones, and pinky grey ragged ones and high winds. Then a lull period, and now we're having the full thunder-and-lightning - I wish I could see the sea from our house!

Someone has posted a pic on Twitter, from Brands Hatch - it looks like the scenes in Independence Day where the UFOs burst through the clouds!

We've got it now Boxy, the Estuary looks spectacular with the Lightning over it, windy and just spitting with rain atm.

We're in Dover, excel - right in the corner. I took some good pics, surprising as the cloud moved so fast. Exactly Stephen - it was just like that! I'm fine - I love a good storm!

It is so humid here, still reading 29C. I think the storm is just starting here, we had one in the early hours of the morning too.

The storms are moving north overnight, lets hope they cool us down soon, its soooo humid. I will not be able to sleep until it rains.
