This will be bad news for my little Willy...does that mean he can't play cricket for Yorkshire any more ?

They may have a good sense of smell but I doubt a dog can trace their origins further back than their owners' home :-)
I'm not surprised that they came over from Asia - they are eaten over there.

Do you have any pics of Willy?

Wolf, be careful what you ask for!
;o)
You could be banned for a question like that Wolf.
It's weird that we can't talk about a lady dog - *** - but I believe that we can talk about loads of them bitches. Willy could also be banned by the Swear Filter police.

Guys - at least I didn't put 'your' in front of the hound's name.
Scientists can trace dogs' origins back to Asia. I doubt dogs have the inclination for genealogy.

They'd rather have a good bone imo!
The only family tree my ol dogs interested in, is the one he lifts his leg to in my back yard.

They might let him field the balls which cross the boundary, mikey :)
I imagines him to have short hair and not a long and silky looking one.

They are tenacious little animals.
What does an Asian put on when taking the dog out?

Oven gloves...
nailit :-) ☺ ☺

Mikey I heard a Q&A from an Irish radio programme this morning with a vet. Somebody keeps their Yorkshire Wolfhound outside in a kennel all year. Do you think that Willy would cope with that?

You could get Willy a kennel for his Xmas.

I didn't realise their noses were that sensitive.
jomifl - if there is food involved dogs can sniff out anything, anywhere. I am sure that the Yorkshire Wolfhound is a true hunting breed
