//My support remains with the Conservatives.//

Always reassuring I am not alone in that regard. :-)
Enjoyed this. Must rise early tomorrow.
Chippy hissy fits aside. It must pain the self appointed liberal elite in media and politics that the only trouble seen at these 'rabid' right wing marches comes from left wing anti-marchers.
In the same way, the rise of right wing parties all over Europe is explained as them taking advantage of the immigration crisis. They hate the idea of people thinking for themselves instead of being told what to think. (by them, natch)
SP, whether you’re impressed with my line of thought or not is immaterial. I don’t ‘do’ political correctness. The people flooding into Europe right now are not your friends – indeed they are not our friends - and gays won’t be the only people targeted. People of other religions or of no religion won’t escape unscathed – heads will roll - so step back and think about what you’re actually encouraging into this country. You bang on about the past, but give these people the opportunity and the future for all who do not adhere to their principles will be bleaker than you can imagine. There are none more conservative or further right in their philosophy than Islamists. We will have two choices - their way or no way. Offend or please, I am not prepared to pussyfoot around yours or anyone else’s sensitivities if it results in the loss of our hard fought for freedoms – and that includes yours too. Should that ever occur, querulously seeking something to be offended by will be the very least of our worries – and that needs to be said too.
So who decided to embark on a debate about German protesters against immigration and turn it into a Gay Pride March? :-)

//My money is on most of the crowd assuming he was pointing to several friends called 'Nancy'.//

//Anyone who tries to engage a gay person with that line is seriously off the mark.//

/// Incidentally - using the whole 'thrown off a building' line is bloody disgusting. It's a revolting line to use, and it's beneath you. ///

Yes being thrown off a tall building is bloody disgusting, but Naomi was stating a fact, they do throw homosexuals off tall buildings, why you continue to support them I just do not know.

I would rather have a hundred British far-right members than one of them. One can wipe off spit (if indeed far-right groups spit) but others have to wipe up the blood after those other's slaughters.

You disappoint me.

I thought you were better than this.

Honest - I really am depressed because there are jerks on AB whose comments I simply skip over. I never had you in their camp.

Let's just say that I understand your position, and leave it at that.

/A lone voice in the wilderness, like all such idiots, best ignored./

Are you familiar with the concept of irony AOG?
SP, if you think that making the right noises at the expense of all that civilised society holds dear simply to mollify the sensitive is the right thing to do, I am better than that – and if, in your estimation, that makes me a jerk, so be it. I can live with that.
jomifl

If I am correct in the fact that you are referring to me.

I am hardly a voice in the wilderness or an idiot, just take note of the amount of ABers who respond to my posts.

It would seem that I have left you speechless, well all to the good, seems all my efforts have not been in vain.
AOG, me earlier/Are you familiar with the concept of irony AOG?/ obviously not.
sp - who are you to call some abers 'jerks' just because YOU don't agree with them, maybe some of us think you are a jerk because of your comments !!l
