Red On Concrete.

The concrete built border wall at the front and one side of the house has started turning red. There's also 2 ornamental columns with sphere's on top that are turning red as well. When I rubbed the red with a tissue it was a yellow shade that came off. My neighbour said the people who had the house before me had the wall built in the 80's. Answers welcome.

It sounds like it could be 'Red Algae', probably brought on by recent dull wet weather.
You should be able to get rid of it with some patio cleaner from a hardware store or garden centre.
