Is there anyone who can give me some advice, I have been overrun with
Very tiny gold coloured moths, I have seen them in every room.

Is there anything I can do to get rid them?

If you have pets, be wary of the chemical remedies. I had these carpet moths too - Hundreds of them! luckily I needed to change most of the carpets this year anyway, and that seemed to have got rid of most of them, but you can - if you can stomach it - go round the bottom of the skirting boards with a torch and a pair of tweezers as this is where the moth's in 'chrysalis'...

How about hanging up some mothballs. You can get various types of moth repellent.
Where my clothes are, I have balls hanging up.
I was seeing a lot of clothes moths all around the house, a few weeks ago, in spite of moth repellent strips placed in drawers and cupboards among woolens.
Sometime later, I noticed an old duffle coat, in a wardrobe, that I'd forgot about, which had become infested with moths and their grubs.
I disposed of the offending garment and I can say that I've only seen one or two moths since.
So I agree, moth repellents are well worth using!
i would follow the tips on the link below - try not to call them out by doing it yourself

we have bought sandalwood balls which can be coated with sandalwood oil and place some around the house and in the wardrobes and that seems to work effectively

Amazon sell them:- Rosemoore Sandalwood and Cedar Wooden Balls

If you have pets, be wary of the chemical remedies.
I had these carpet moths too - Hundreds of them! luckily I needed to change most of the carpets this year anyway, and that seemed to have got rid of most of them, but you can - if you can stomach it - go round the bottom of the skirting boards with a torch and a pair of tweezers as this is where the moth's in 'chrysalis' form live, put them on a piece of paper towel and flush them down the loo. And Hoover daily under beds, drawers/in airing cupboards/ down skirting boards/ under bathroom mats - these beggers hide everywhere!
They like to burrow down into the carpet (there is a caterpillar/ worm living in the chrysalis which drags it's home around until it turns into a moth) so check carefully - this method of course will only reduce the amount of moths, not get rid of them.
If you don't have pets and the chemical method doesn't work - you might have to consider changing your carpets to get rid.
Good Luck
Oh ohhhhh.. keep an eye on it.. they sound like what we've had.. carpet moths.. they've munched through our carpets.. up and down stairs.. they can ''eat'' wooden furniture too.. they are often around..if you you live near trees... you need very strong treatment.. proper pest control.. and then to avoid it in future... Acrylic carpets.. no wooden furniture.. hope you haven't got this... its a bliddy pain.. good luck .. Mr & Mrs C x
Oopsie... sorry Pea's.. didn't read your reply before posting... sound advice.. sorry again Mrs C x
:-) lol Crisper, it's ok, I'm sure crijo68 wants all the advice we can give.- They're 'orrible little bleeders are'nt they?!
If they're gold I'd suggest they are clothes moths rather than carpet moths. Still a pain whatever. We have suffered terribly with carpets ruined in several rooms but this was the carpet beetle which is another pest yet again. Had to go down the chemical route.
I had a terrible problem with clothes moths 5 or 6 years ago. The little horrors were everywhere...ugg. I used Zensect moth proofers, still do...no more moths.
