I suppose mine would vote the same way as he would if asked to vote on legislation on, let's call it what it is, mowing people down with a machine gun and blowing up those who survived.
I don't suuport the idea of bombing Syria, by the way. Not because of any scruples such as you seem to have, weecalf, but simply on the basis that it will do nothing to alleviate the threat and will be a waste of time and money.

As has been widely stated (and, as far as i know, not disputed) the people behind the recent terrorist incidents in Europe are not Syrians or people who live there. They come from places like Brussels and Birmingham. As far as I know during WW2 there were not many Japanese insurgents in Basildon or Bruges and any there might have been were swiftly rounded up and interred rather than being given a council flat and paid benefits. Those people do not care a jot whether Syria is bombed or not because it will make no difference to them.
