a girl of 6 does not need that much spending on her Diesel...and no you should not be making differences ..
I always spend the same on my children and grandchildren .£250 does seem a lot for a 6 year old .
a typical 6 year old girl will be happy with some Frozen Disney stuff...some sweeties...some bigish girl toiletries to make her feel grown up..some party clothes...music if she has a fav singer or band...maybe an inexpensive mp3 player..they DO NOT need £500 iphones etc...
My next door neighbour has bought 3 Iphones - for her children, 11, 13 14 - and has left other presents here in my house for Xmas day.

On top of that they get new clothes naturally.

I do think Die you should try and give each child same money. Maybe your daughter at uni could be doing with £200 if you can afford that.
My little boy is only two, but we've already spent a king's ransom on him! We do tend to spoil him though because he will be my only child.
And you say ... so far! Stop spending now. The 6 year old does not need all that stuff and what about other relatives, what will they be left to buy? Nothing because she'll be the kid who has everything.

Save some of it for birthday and give the £100 to the older one with a box of Lindt chocloates from Dad.
You can be making a rod for your own back as well, as she gets older she will have more expectation of having more expensive gifts, cut back, she will appreciate her gifts more if they are few and far between.
£250!!!!! Blimey no wonder you're so boracic at xmas!!! £50 would suffice.

I agree with £100 for the daughter at uni.

Four kids, always gave equally, now all adults, same applies, they see to that.
About $200 per offspring, roughly 120 quid per kid.
Some years it's been more, some years less, depends on the finances available.

You figure equates to roughly $480.00 on a six year old.
Hmmmm.
£60/£65 each. Plus dinners. Lifts, drinks.
little things mean a lot....I remember those from childhood..more than anything....
