pp - not only do I fail to understand what you are spouting about on many occasions, I actually understand this time and quite frankly, I think you are totally bonkers (answer removed!)

I feel deeply sorry for the prison guards who have to control this monster.
Everyone has the right to claim for being assaulted. So that seems fair enough to me. Doesn't mean they will prove their case. No person in authority has the right to beat up on prisoners. But it seems the five prison officers were cleared, no case to answer. It's good that the public knows why things occurred and all is open to ensure nothing is being done wrong in the public's name. Anything else would be worrisome.
"The Times The Prison Officers Association insisted that only approved techniques had been used"

damn, thats a shame...

shoulda knocked all his teeth out and then fed him pureed pork at meal times
I would like to see all rights taken away from convicted criminals serving jail sentences
Do many prisoners subjected to 'approve techniques' of restraint end up losing teeth?
yes, he should be free to claim compensation. Laws should apply to everyone.
Sandy - I'd guess more than we hear about.

In this particular piece of garbage case, the vast majority of the public wouldn't care one iota what was being done wrong in their name.
And I'm one of them aog !

Claiming compensation and being granted it are two different matters, as we will most likely see.
Now if we had hanging ....
I blame the poor marksmanship of the ARV. A double tap x 2 in the head would cost the tax payer £3.20p max!

A couple of false teeth should be the limit of his compensation - and then only if he's lucky.

This cretinous creature is like a rabid dog, and should be handled as such.

I've never really understood why the police didn't shoot to kill, and saved all this bother and the expense of housing and feeding him.
