I agree that Aamer Shakar wasnt always truthing - a bit like the irish b'ham bombers ( non-bombers that is ! ) who lied about various things

but that is no reason to put them in jail for 15 years

he said he went to Afghani because there was freedom of religion there (!) and the Taliban werent THAT bad .... and his wife went too altho she must really have felt at home there being anglo-saxon .....

fifteen hyears later is not so keen to leave dear old blighty - the land of the un-free ....
