My Cheap Christmas Jumper Was Not A Success.

I bought a medium/large one, thinking it would be nice and loose and roomy.
I tried it on before going to my dad's Christmas party, yesterday afternoon. It came down to my knees and the sleeves were made for an Orangutan!
I took it with me and it fitted Dad (fifteen stone). He loved it and everyone made a fuss of him in his lovely Christmas Jumper. He was a star.
Another fiver down the Swanee!

Till, The 'London Pride' somehow stuck in my mind. I remember back in the summer, I think, you mentioned you took your Dad out for lunch, as I recall, he had steak and chips, washed down with a couple of pints of London Pride.
I'm rather partial to a drop of L P, myself, so maybe that's how I remembered that.
