Using Data On Mobile Phone
8 Answers
HI Abers, can you please help ...
I occasionally listen to the FM radio (obviously through earphones) on my mobile phone (Sony experia) whilst I'm doing a particularly boring process at work .... does listening to the radio on a mobile phone use data? Just wanted to clear this up - if it does, I will switch to using my little "sports radio" rather than listening to stuff via my phone. Thanks, Chox.

Does is say FM but in reality stream a station that normally broadcasts on FM over the web, or does it genuinely use the airwaves ? A clue would be, does it insist it needs the earphones plugged in, in order to use them as the aerial ? Or read the app description.
