Florida Holiday
5 Answers
Can anyone help me - I'm looking to book a holiday in August 2007 for Disney World, Orlando but as I'm paying for 7 people I would like a 'cheap' option - is it better to go with a package deal like Travel City Direct or is it cheaper to book a villa, car rental and flights separately on the net?

A little bit more hassle maybe, but we ended up getting a 3 bedroom villa with private pool for the same price we had previously paid for one hotel room.

i once went with a friend to florida, we checked into hotels as we found them. I can recommend the quality inn international on international drive as being both clean and cheap. I think we paid $20 a piece for a twin room per night. U dont always need to use the car if u get a package deal. Most hotels put on a coach to the major attractions. Have fun and don't forget to see universal studios....magic!
If you want a cheap option, can you travel at some other time. My friend in Michigan goes to Florida in March every year, its still warm, but before it gets too hot and us crazy Brits fill all the hotels and push the prices through the roof. I guess some of your 7 are kids and restricted by school holidays so may not work for you.
When ever we go abroad we always use this site the prices are so good, not like if you go with a travel agents you have to pay the middle man rather than go direct which cuts him out, have a look
