For quite a few weeks now I have had an annoying sensation in my right upper eyelid which is like a really fast pulse. It is intermittent and I cannot see anything going on when I look in the mirror.
Is this something I should ask my GP about or something I just have to put up with?
Thanks to anyone who can give me advice.
Myokymia....Google it. No big deal.....associated with stress, anxiety, tiredness...alcohol......coffee and anything else one cares to name. No treatment necessary, it will go and probably come back......or not;-)
Thank you Sqad, I do suffer from depression and anxiety and this time of year is difficult for me. I have had these problems for 35 years and this is a new thing for me but I guess getting older will bring out new reactions.
This is more annoying than anything else. I have Googled Myokmia, which explains it well. I am feeling less anxious about it already, so thank you!
Interesting. Used to get that as a child, usually when lining up at the teacher's desk to hand over my answers. Haven't thought about it in years.
Thank you both.
