for anyone suffering from this i have just had shockwave therapy and can deffo recommend it , i have suffered for 3 yrs and counting and tried all the stretching excercises, insoles in shoes etc and only now am i getting some relief , its not completely gone but its still early and its so nice not to walk with a slight limp
That's interesting tez- please could you go into detail about what they did? I know I don't have heel pain, but I have tingling and throbbing soles (equally) and wonder whether an injection or something else might help.
It's like a gun and it's held to your heel and it feels like ball bearings being shot at your heel for 3 minutes , it's a bit painful but bearable , it suppose to make blood flow to the site more and therefore heel the muscle ive had 3 sessions Got to bak in 6 weeks see if I need more , the only pain I'm getting now is first step I take wen I get out of bed and even thsts not as bad as it was , I would recommend it.
wish there was an edit button on here got bad habit of not reading b4 i post hence spelling mistakes and words that dont make sense lol hope you understand what im saying
I started with the injection worked for a while - then physio and exercises and the insoles which sorted it but I am still wary and always have a good sponge heel to my shoes. I know it as 'policeman's heel'
