Do any of the good people of answerbank wear the glasses cord /chain .I have started to wear one ,brilliant .only wearing it for 6days but since wearing it in the time save in not looking for the glasses I have written a novel ,learnt another language .

I have worn my reading/close work specs on a cord ever since I 1st needed them. I don't like the metal chains, they can get tangled up and caught with necklaces etc. I have to be honest and tell you that it's kinda awkward when the cold weather hits and I wear a snood, artistically wound round my neck (I have to watch a Youtube video of how to do it every flaming time.)

There can be a problem, especially if you wear a handbag crossways over your body, and the strap joins in the fun....but I still recommend wearing specs on a cord :)

It's quite funny to think of us middle agers with our glasses either hanging around our necks or perched on our heads not quite remembering where they are. None of us want to admit that we actually do need a chain around our necks. :))

Can't remember how many times my kids have taken the pee out of me when I ask "Has anyone seen my glasses".
