Hi All,
I have been trying to sell a small layout for a neighbour who has had to go into a care home, I've googled and checked local press but can't seem to find too many people who can answer emails or return phone calls (thats sarcasm by the way :-))
Does anyone have any ideas
If it helps, I'm based in Maidstone, Kent

I should think the older the set is, the more valuable its likely to be. Try searching for similar items on Ebay, which will give you a good idea of the value. Then take as many good digital photos as you can, and list it for sale, setting the starting price at the lowest figure youd be prepared to accept. Youd have a lot more potential buyers that way compared to the local papers. Make it available to overseas buyers too, especially the USA.
Very often these sets come up on Antique Road show / Bargain Hunt, I have seen them on there with boxes in mint condition & bring very little money, look on eBay for prices then go on Gumtree / your local ads sites & there are many, have a price that you think suitable then put a price above so you can reduce to sell it, re/ the box state everything regards the condition eg/ Scratches / tear in the box, to save postage "Buyer to collect" UK Sales only.
