Hc, my post proves the point that facial coverings can help when commiting a crime, have you not seen the noticies at the entrance to a bank about removing crash helmets.

Whatever HC, we all have our view's, that's mine in the face of security. have a good day.
But that doesn't mean that a woman in a burqha is setting out to commit crime, Webbo. I suggest it would be easier for a criminal to don a mask or disguise over his face that to be hampered by a burkha. At least that can be removed quickly and easily, unlike a burqha.
So you just wanted your own view reinforced, TWR?

I suggest you get out and about and meet some Muslims then maybe you won't be scared stiff of a woman in a burqha.
Do you think Muslim women are going to tell you they wear a burka because they are oppressed, hc?

How many burka clad women do you know?
I once tried to speak to two women wearing burkas, they completely ignored me.

When it comes to security HC, NO-ONE should have their face covered, Especially the people that wear them. "End Of"
I know a lot of Muslims, those who wear burqhas and those who don't. It is very obvious that some are opprossed by their husbands and family but it would be wrong for the law to oppress those women that want to wear it.

Those oppressed women would never leave their homes if the burqha were banned as their husbands would never allow it, which will be of no help to them whatsoever.

Thankfully we live in a country where we have the freedom to wear what we want and help is available to those oppressed women when they seek it. My wife is a Christian and works at a refuge for Muslim women.
End of, TWR? Do you really say that?
Slightly off topic. But is it necessary to describe anyone going into a shop as """ a thing "" ? . in answer to your question , I didn't see many burka wearing women in the north African incident yesterday !!
Anne , I thought the same when I read that - all the hairs on the back of my neck stood up.

Still we've had an 'End of' so I'll shut up.
Why are people still posting when TWR has submited an 'end of'?

You really should learn some manners!
Maybe ypou could report my reply Talbot ? !!!
Yes.
I am trying to work out which logical fallacy is illustrated by the OP
