Are They Telling The Truth

How often have you said something like I have not seen you in the shop ,on the bus for about six months but they always say .Oh I ve been away for three years .Or their kids ,you say Ike must be about 12 now ,they alway say something like Oh Ike on his third marriage now he's 27 .Do they lie just to confuse you or does time really pass that quick

So it must be deliberate lies.

I think when you know someone and they go away, or whatever, they stay as they were in your mind.

Why lie ,its not worth telling lies about your kids age .so what's happening

You could always demand to see Ike.
Or see his wedding photos.
Then they'd be caught out

I can't believe it I thought Ike and his first wife were made for each other.

So did I thought he would grow up in to the settling down type .Showed no signs of this when he had braces on his teeth .How he expected the trousers to stay up like that goodness knows

As long as he's stopped wearing the socks with sandals now.

Could have .Did not like to ask the ma as the last time we mentioned socks ,she had fancied buy him socks with the days of the weeks on them but settle for ones with Jan ,Feb mar and April may June and so on in three months catchments
