Hi pond50 - a reply from the BBC today, but no luck I'm afraid. Below an abridged copy of their email + bits added by me -

I hope that by listening to them all you will find the right one. I have tried everything to find out which one. I even went back to look at the Charts around that time but I had no luck. I'm sorry.

I'd hoped they'd be able to view the programme from their archives, but perhaps not. I'll pursue that avenue if you ask me to but I have the feeling that we've come to the end of this line of enquiry. I'm sorry I couldn't come back with better news.
