In theory people like Monk might not be too popular with the locals, and Jomast his company itself might also be a target. On the other hand "F*** you dirty women, get out of our country, you don't belong here" doesn't gel with that, and then you have the NF symbols allegedly scrawled too

I think all their is to this is that the company has to redecorate the houses before putting the tenants in and they have bought a job lot of red paint.
Most of the other houses seem to be boarded up,so it would be just as easy to spot the asylum seekers by looking for the ones that have new paint on the doors.
