Do other countries pander to the British palate. (other than the British owned cafes etc in places like Benidorm etc)

Personally I love trying new food when I travel and wouldn't consider the food a problem as I would find something I like.

Yes
We were given pot noodles on a return flight from Thailand.

I always thought I was a foodie and would try anything. Going outside of Europe made me realise that this isn't true. When I went to Thailand I didn't eat until I found an English cafe. Street food was a massive NO NO.

I have a sister-in-law that when she went to Spain, spent most of the time in the apartment complex and its pool, because she said that there were "too many foreigners" down at the very picturesque Old Town and harbour !

I gently pointed out that when she was in Spain, it was her that that was the foreigner but I don't think she understood. She also didn't like that "foreign muck" that they served at the harbour, which from my recollection was mostly fresh fish.

You can take a girl out of the Valleys but its sometimes difficult to take the Valleys out of the girl !
Love love love the food in the med. If I didn't have men to feed I would live on fish and seafood.
