Disgusting food

What is the most disgusting thing you have ever seen anyone eat? I have just been dipping bread into cold gravy left over from yesterdays dinner and I realised that most people would find this horrible. Anyway it made me think of at least 4 people I know who like 'mucky fat sarnies' in case you have never heard of these it involves getting a slice of bread and dipping it in the chip pan or roasting dish. Every time I have seen someone do this I have had to fight the urge to barf all over.

but seriously... I was in a posh restaurant in Almansa in Spain last year, one of the courses was a raw egg yolk sat on top of a slice of parma ham, the whole thing was coated with a clear shell of rock hard caramelised sugar and then cheese sauce was drizzled round the edge in a "nouvelle cusine" kinda way. It was totally nausiating and my Spanish friends were really surprised that i found it repulsive!

My hubbie's eaten chicken feet - it's a delicacy in China. Apparantly you have to suck the meat off each toe. Other delicacies are duck tongues!

I've just remembered, one of my sons used to eat play dough - very embarrassing at toddler groups

On one of the Greek Islands I saw a woman served a whole sheeps skull, and she then proceeded to pick the boiled brains out of it - YUCK!

My father always picked the eyes out of a fish and ate them first, and then put the rest of the head in his mouth, sucking everything off of it and then pulling out the skull.

I myself once in my youth ate whole shrimp, with heads, tails, digestive tracts, eyes, and tentacles, because they were served to me that way in a situation where I was loathe to appear unsophisticated. I became very sick afterward, and haven't eaten shrimp since that day.

my sister eats french mustard, bacon, salad cream and crisps on a butty, also she eats salad cream, piccallilli, ham or turkey, mustard, butter and tomato. i thought she was pregnant at first, but it has been going on for 5years now.

The sarnies sound nice though nattab, though I would swap the salad cream for mayonaisse :)
