I have just read this article, what a vile man Parkinson was, but what baffles me is why his 3 grown up daughters that he fathered with his wife have never tried to contact their younger half-sister, just goes to show what horrible people they are I suppose!

I refrained from comment in my original thread on this subject. But I feel a comment coming on now.

I find it quite ironic that a comment such as “Parkinson has that Tory quality - the ability to pretend that something 'unpleasant' simply never happened” is awarded as part of a best answer when it’s very clear that the author and his supporters have the ability to pretend that this conduct is uniquely representative only of people who vote Conservative. Not a lot of thought has gone into that one.

Strong drink never interfered with Labour politicians ability to do their jobs. Dick Crossman and George Brown come to mind.//
My word you are in a whimsical mood tonight Sandy. You have a strange choice of virtuous Labour MPs. Nice photo I will dig up for you to see a Labour sot who is capable of being an "upstanding" MP

There you are. Not an unsual pose of Brown "upstanding". Read the link. Even disgraced himself with the Bishop of Lima!! You admire some strange MPs!!
