I have an LG chromebase browser, which is brilliant and simple to use. However, I am having problems connecting it to a printer. The printer is an Epson Expression Premium XP 520. Nowhere can I find simple and clear instructions on how to connect one with the other. Some people talk of Cloud Print others say that one has to have a computer running Windows. The browser uses Chrome OS as its operating system. Has anyone any ideas, please

Chrome OS can't send output directly to a printer. It has to use Cloud Print. (That's stated on page 24 of your Chromebase manual). Use Google to search for 'Google Cloud Print'. The search results suggest that the information you require is there but I can't access myself it as I don't have a Google account (which is something you'll obviously need).

Please can I update you all. I borrowed OH's computer to send a message as to my technological stymies. Now it is sending his messages through in my name!!!!!!!!! Not sure how to sort this, unless the system will gradually recognise my current email address as the only one for me .!**! Oh! How I hate technology! You can't talk to it and sort things out. So, messages from me may not be from me, if you get my drift - you'll probably tell the difference. (He's very grateful for the advice, by the way.)

What are the 'messages' you refer to? They don't appear to be posts to The Answerbank, as your profile shows no relevant activity (unless you're referring to the 'Merkel' post).

So I'm assuming that you're referring to emails being sent from the wrong account. If you (and your husband) use a web-based email system, where you access your mail through a website (which you view in your browser) then simply clicking on 'Log Out', and then logging in again with his own account details, should fix the problem. (If it doesn't, clearing the cookies and cache from his browser will definitely do so).

If you use a 'proper' email client (such as Outlook Express, Outlook, Windows Live Mail, Windows 10 Mail or Thunderbird) to access your email mail, you need to check that you've got two separate accounts configured. If so, one of them will be set as the 'default' account and, unless you change it, outgoing mail will always be sent via that account. (To change the account that's used, simply click in the 'From' field and select from the list offered).
