How To Stop Rug Moving

We had exactly the same problem. Looking around we found this in John Lewis:

The reviews were good, so we bought some - fantastic. We use it on two rugs, one in the bedroom on a laminate floor and a carpet offcut acting as doormat inside the front door. The doormat used to creep away from the door as we wiped our feet but no longer. I really cannot belive how effective this is.
