How Can I Transfere Stuff From My Tablet To A Usb Stick

I want to put stuff from my android tablet to a usb storage stick. I have downloaded usb drivers, usb readers, but tablet wont reconise usb , i have conected a usb converter

There ate two ways to do this that I can think of. one is to connect the tablet to your laptop and transfer the files to the laptop first, then to the USB stick. The other is, if you have a microSD card to extend the tablet's storage and the laptop has a slot which will read an SD/microSD card, to put the files on the microSD card and use that to do the transfer to the laptop.
