I couldn't make out the conversation either, , and I think there was music playing too which didn't help, couldn't decide it was the boys mother or sister either.....otherwise I'm thoroughly enjoying the whole series - only question I would have is why the teacher would come so far just to be a teaching assistant (don't worry,T/A's I know you do a sterling job,I did it for a while) and surely she would have been Police Checked before being given that job - we all have to be.

Good point, Mags22. However, what would they have found about her if she had been police checked?
Where did she come from anyway? How did she get involved with Tommy?

If she's never been in trouble with the police, it doesn't matter how many police checks are done, there won't be anything to show up.
She's taken the TA role to be near the boy, not for any financial reason, so she can drip her brand of poison in his ear so her 'boyfriend', the boy's father, will like her.

The mother definitely killed the farm boy & I suspect will turn the gun on herself in next episode. That bloody creepy teacher gets on my wick.

It's a shame but there are women out there who get 'turned on' by naughty boys, the naughtier the better. They write to criminals in prison and visit them. Perhaps she visited Tommy through her possible Christian work (remember how she was when she was having her meal).
