Driver Update
every so often when i click to watch a video on facebook a box appears at the bottom of the screen saying 'driver updates missing'. Details- a required driver is missing. Size- 3.4MB Download. OS-windows 10, 8, 7, xp & vista. then a box to click on saying Fix Now should i click this to download the drivers? or is it some sort of scam as everything seems to be working ok without fixing the so called problem. thanks for any advice on this.

Download, install and run the free version of Malwarebytes Anti-Malware to zap it:

(NB: At the end of the installation process you'll encounter a pre-ticked box offering you a free trial of the Premium version. Remove that tick before proceeding!)

It could be the advert is actually part of the video, so anyone watching the video will also see the "advert".
It is an easy way for people to get "free" advertising.
Create a funny video of a cat falling over, put your advert in the corner of the video, then forward it to all your friends and, like lemmings, they will forward it to all THEIR friends and so on so it goes viral.
Free advertising !
btw NEVER trust any advert like this that says your drivers are out of date (or you have a virus, or your PC is full of porn, or all sorts of other "scare" messages. They are all scams).
