I have two of the Lexibook Countdown Deluxe games LG1010GB. They are supplied with a cable that is supposed to allow a '2-player mode' after interconnection. This simply does not work for me. Has anybody a similar experience and/or solution?

Do you have the instruction booklet that came with the game(s)? I have the LG1000GB booklet, on page 16 it explains 2 player games.

'In the 2 player game the players can only play in Contest mode and the computer dictates the rounds.

To play the 2 player game connect the supplied lead to the Cable Link Socket. Make sure BOTH units are turned off before you do this. Then turn BOTH units on at exactly the same time. They will recognise each other and automatically default to the 2 player contest mode.'

Hope that is of some help.

The LG1000GB is the wrong model. However I've tried using all sorts of combinations of turning one/both off and so on to no avail. Lexibook will not answer any emails either. I wonder if the 2-player mode ever worked for anybody on the LG1010GB.
