Whay are we not allowed poet e-mail addresses?

It is not exactly a secret thing like your credit card pin or the password to your e-mail account.It is no more private than your name.

You've got a green screen-name, which indicates that you're a new user, but you're quoting an AB rule which was rescinded several months ago. (e-mail addresses are now allowed). That suggests that you've been around AB for quite some time.
It seems that you can't be bothered to set up a new e-mail account but you can be bothered to change your screen name on AB (which usually involves setting up a new e-mail account so that AB doesn't recognise you as having two identities). As I've said, I'm confused!
