if you need to enter a code then press '1' on the radio - a screen should appear with a dash (-) on it. use the search buttons to scroll up for the first no. in your code. once entered, press '1' again. repeat this process for the other three digits, pressing '1' after each entry, and finally pressing '1' after all numbers have been entered. this should then make the radio work
