Grrr! I'm tearing my hair out! I've got Windows 10. Buttons have disappeared. The enlarging button and closing down buttons are missing from top right of screen. Tried several things, including clicking on the menu button with the 3 horizontal lines, but that's disappeared too! I was using google Chrome, which has been operating okay, then this happened, and I don't know why. So, I had to go back to Firefox. Help please?

As I read that, your problem isn't actually with Windows 10 but with Chrome. My first thought is that you might simply have knocked the F11 key, which toggles 'full screen' mode on and off. If so, simply pressing it again will fix your problem.

Have you tried pressing the F11 key at the top of the keyboard?
Try pressing the F11 button

Wish I could help, I'll read answers with interest. I was forced into Windows 10 in January when my old laptop died. I've had to give up doing almost everything I used to be able to do apart from send emails and get on here. This week I have discovered (after a lot of stress) how to write, save and send a document. There is no 'save' button. I still can't work out an address book - I bought a little black book and wrote everything down in there. It just doesn't make sense. You have my sympathy. :)

yes, thank you, I have pressed F11, tried many times, it enlarges the screen, but removes all the top info, including address bar. Many thanks anyway.

Thank you, but this doesn't work. the address bar at top disappears too! Many thanks anyway

Many thanks, I'm not impressed with Windows 10, or Chrome either! My task bar disappeared before too! I've asked the question online, and I still can't access the "help" button they suggest, because it's not there either! I think I'll just go to bed! Thank you
I would start with the usual first step.

Switch it off.

Switch it on again.
If Firefox is working okay then the issue is with Chrome, not Windows

thank you, but it doesn't work, tried several times. was advised to click on menu button, top right of screen, with 3 horizontal lines, and go from there, but that's not there either! Crazy! Thank you anyway
