just been sent an email from morrisons congratulating me on winning £500 of vouchers to spend in their shops. the giveaway was it had an american address attached.
It isn't really a Morrison's scam. I get them for all the supermarkets.
I don't get much spam these days as Virgin Media zaps it but most of them are so badly written that I wonder if anyone falls for them (I know that they must do or they would stop sending them).
I never open them as I do not know what the consequences may be, but be assured of one thing; if the email addresses you by your email address, then it is a 100% scam.
they're obviously trying to lure Piggynose down to Gibraltar to do his shopping. When he's there they'll kidnap him and sell him in the slave markets of Tangiers.
I nearly fell for that one, luckily I noticed it was a weekly fee of £4.95 to enter a draw for £500 of vouchers. It is a cunning one, it looks like you are just checking to see if you are a winner but it signs you up to pay £4.95 a week off your mobile phone bill!
They are doing it with M&S as well!
you can see i've been out of the uk far too long now, hoppy.
mind you talk about cheesy one liners, if you fancied the waitress, wouldn't you say waitrose ?
