Guards is no problem - he could wear his turban under his bearskin and nobody would know.

The Guards are happy to progress and adapt and yes traditions are fantastic, however we cannot live in a snapshot of years gone by - time marches on.

I seriously doubt this has any adverse effect on our armed forces at all.

Equally, the guards didn't have to accept his application to join them. They obviously wanted him because he is a bloody good soldier.

Well they would say that, obviously a move by the establishment in their constant move for diversity. Ask those actually in the uniform, and they would not be too happy to see the traditional uniform they don with pride
altered in such a way.

Incidentally I happen to know for a fact that this Sikh guardsman actually wanted to wear the traditional bear skin headgear, but he was not allowed.

One more example were the white liberal left (those who always seem to be offended for others) do nothing towards achieving racial harmony.

I did not say they did, a person chooses to join the guard's regiments straight from civvy street, and it is after their basic training that they later become Royal Guards as part of their duties, taking into consideration that they are still an active infantry regiment, and have to carry out tours of active duty.
