I can't help wondering where the B.B.C. get their weather forecast from. According to them, it is 13 degrees with a threat of rain in "Scotland". For the past three days it has been wall to wall blue skies and 20 plus degrees.

I think it is from the Met Office.
I never look at the BBC`s forecast. The Weather Channel`s is much more accurate
I think that forecast is for London. We are certainly having the weather that matches that description.
B cold here !
I have just put more undergarments on. Flippin' freezing her and the heating set at 20º
So cold, I got the woodburner going last night!
Send me your bank details, and I'll gladly ship over some canned heat to you.

We're having wonderful weather here in Dundee. As I said wall to wall blue skies and it was so hot yesterday I had to come indoors and leave the gardening till it cooled down in the evening. Long may it continue. Mind you my daughter said it was a lot colder in Aberdeen.
I'm near Glenrothes maggie and it's been sunny and hot all week. Well into the 20's
Brrrrr!!! Not fair!
Definitely unfair!! We havd had colder weather here since Saturday than we had at Christmas!! Too cold for gardening - very strong winds straight from the North - Brrr only been 11 deg today and 12 deg yesterday. No sun at all - we are all depressed here in the Eastern half of UK and look enviously at the West snd Scotland!! S..O..S send our sunshine!! :)
I would invite you for the weekend Ann but I'm off to Edinburgh to meet up with my Kids and Sister from NZ :o)
They must have their map upside down because it's us in england that have the bad weather.
No bad weather here in Plymouth. We've had glorious weather since the weekend. Sunny...and WARM!!!
Could it be because the left side of the Island gets the Gulf Stream effect?
I'm sunburnt, hot all week in Glasgow.
they decided not to renew the Met Office's contract, which I think runs out in the next month or two. I don't know who's taking over, though.
I think it's this lot taking over - Meteo Group
