If they are still looking, maybe I'm jumping to conclusions, but I think most of us are aware what has (most likely) occurred. Regardless of warning not to enter the water, should visitors been allowed anywhere near the edge if getting dragged in is possible ?
In the southern States, it is well known that in summer-time one doesn't go within 15 yards of reeds or pool water....an alli coming out is much faster than a human over that distance. Any more yardage, then the human wins, the weight of the mobile handbag taking over.
Ditto reeds on golf courses, as to snakeys. Don't go in there without a 4 iron at the very least.
