On the programme were Hilary Benn and Ken Clarke.After discussing trident on which they both agreed that we need a nuclear deterrent they went on to discuss the labour Leadership election.Hilary Benn said that although Jeremy Corbyn had some good principles and ideas he is simpl not a leader and KC said that as a result a poorly led opposition did not keep a government on its toes and as such the government can get through most of what they want.If only "thick as two short planks" Len McCluskey and his cronies could see this Labour could attempt to find someone to lead the party who could perhaps at least make some inroads into the Consevative majority in 2020.
