I Wonder Why This Number Is Rising So...

Hi
we live in a top floor flat and recently got a kitten, who due to our living arrangements will be a house cat until we move somewhere thats more suitable.
The problem is that now the sun is out we need to open windows, but can't as he might escape, and living in a town centre location, so high up, it would be very dangerous if he got out, so I would like to fit some sort of window guard.
Can anyone reccommend where we could get one and how best to fit it please? It needs to be mesh so that he can't squeeze out, but can still let the air in.
Thanks

We used U shaped pins/nails to hold plastic square shaped trellis in place and it's brilliant. Ours though is to stop the cat getting into the house via the upstairs windows, as she isn't allowed on the beds!
You'll soon find that your cat isn't daft though - they are very aware of being high up!!!
