Fertility Problems.
2 Answers
My daughter was supposed to start fertility treatment yesterday but doctor could'nt see how many eggs she had due to a blood clot on fallopian tube. Does anyone know if it's likely to disperse next visit? If not, she will need key hole surgery again. She is quite upset Although, she is off on holiday for a week on Friday. I told her to forget it for now and enjoy her holiday. Anyone know of this experience? TIA.

The commonest cause is from a past and recent ruptured ectopic pregnancy, but you have not mentioned that point, Also pelvic infections in the past may causes a bleeding upset but that would have been excluded before the onset of IVF. It could of course be due to her ovulating.
In the absence of pelvic disease and ectopic pregnancy, I feel that the blood clot will dissolve on it 's own and cause no further problems.

Thank you Mine, that's what I wanted to hear. I don't think it's ectopic pregnancy. She had keyhole surgery to investigate nearly 3 months ago now and was told she had endometriosis. Her tubes are quite scarred, hence IVF treatment. Hope on her next hospital visit, clot would have dissolved. I hope it works for her, she is made to be mum. She's lovely.
