Woke up and there was a massive slash in my car tyre. Had to get it towed to garage. Waited for them to tell me I would only have to wait an hour or so, only for them to come and say they have to order it and won't have one for two days! So had to get taxi home. Then my MIL (whose house I'm keeping an eye on whilst she's abroad) range me from Fuerteventura to say she'd had a txt alert to say her house alarm had been triggered so had to then get another taxi over there! No damage but looks like a cat or fox had got through cat flap and as they went round house they've triggered the alarm sensors. Then get home and I've defrosted the wrong thing for dinner so am now sat down with a large glass of wine!

Yes everyone the wine is going down nicely - hope tomorrow is more peaceful!
Private Eye had a cartoon this week with an office revolving front-door, known now as a 'Fat-Cat Flap'........I rather liked that term.
OK, why would they leave it unlocked when they are not there, and they have a Burglar Alarm?
