Our Humax recorder is situated in a unit with only the front visible in our longe. the computer is situated in another room behind the lounge. If I fitted a Wi-Fi Dongle to the recorder woud it connect OK to the computer. Thank for any help in advance.

No, the dongle needs the Windows Operating System to work

yes the humax fox t2 has a wi-fi connection on the rear i have a wi-fi dongle in mine works fine , so long as your router has enough signal it will be ok
